Color Me Human Board of Directors Position
The Organization
Color Me Human is an essential part of the diverse and wondrous landscape of Nevada County, ancestral home of the Nisenan and now our home as well, a place worth cherishing and holding in great reverence. Nevada County is a microcosm of the Sierra range, and its citizens are a mix of the urban transplant, the adventurous suburban and the die-hard rural. We choose to honor the past, live peacefully and in prosperity in the present, and together build a future worthy of this place and ready for our children, who are coming up right behind us and deserve the very best we can give them.
Our Mission:
Color Me Human fearlessly fights systems of oppression and boldly champions equity and inclusion for all people, serving as a bridge to building a vibrant and empowered community.
Our Vision:
Through fearless advocacy, education, and collaboration, we partner with organizations and leaders who share our values, creating a community where every individual is valued, respected, and celebrated.
